Turban Noguchi

Turban Noguchi is a popular origami made using a 1000-yen bill.
The technique started with a bill featuring Hideyo Noguchi, noted physician and bacteriologist. By folding the money, you could outfit Noguchi with a turban or other fancy headgear. Our fav is Abe. Of course there is also a YouTube video Check it out…

Fecal Face interview with D*Face

WHO: Street artist D*Face
WHAT: A great D*Face Interview from earlier this month.
WHERE: brought by fecalface.com
WHY: Impressive to find that a guy who grew up in London was as influenced by 80s American skate culture as many of us were in the states. D*Face gives up some words of wisdom – “The only thing I can really say is, do what you do from the heart and it will lead you in the right direction.”

The Time is Right

Word Clock is a typographic screensaver for Macs. It displays a fixed list of all numbers and words sufficient to express any possible date and time as a sentence. Word Clock displays time by highlighting appropriate words as each second passes.

Word Clock uses the Mac OS typesetting engine which allows for hyphenation and alignment (e.g. fully justified text). You can position and resize the text however you like and can have it displayed in any of the included languages.

Download it and customize your time.
